This website, bhi-partners.com (the "Site"), is operated by Blackheath Infrastructure Partners S.L.U., a company registered in Spain with tax identification number (NIF) B88802236, with its registered office at Paseo de Europa nº 7, Oficina 416, 28703 San Sebastián de los Reyes, Madrid, Spain ("Blackheath", "we", "us"). For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD), we are the data controller of personal data collected through the Site.

We also maintain offices in the United Kingdom and South Africa. Where we process personal data of individuals in those jurisdictions, we do so in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, and the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA), respectively.

• Correspondence data: if you contact us by email (info@bhi-partners.com) or otherwise, we collect your name, email address, organisation, and the content of your message.
• Business relationship data: contact details and professional information relating to clients, partners, suppliers and counterparties, collected in the course of business development and project delivery.

• Responding to enquiries and managing business relationships — Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering a contract) and Article 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest in operating our business).
• Marketing and business development communications — Article 6(1)(f), or Article 6(1)(a) (consent) where required by law.
• Compliance with legal obligations, including anti-money-laundering, sanctions screening and know-your-counterparty checks — Article 6(1)(c).
• Site operation, security and improvement — Article 6(1)(f).

We may share personal data within the Blackheath group, with our anchor shareholder firms where necessary for project delivery, and with professional advisers, IT service providers, financing parties and public authorities where required. We do not sell personal data.

Because we operate across Spain, the United Kingdom, South Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America, personal data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area. Where we do so, we rely on adequacy decisions or appropriate safeguards, principally the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, supplemented where required by the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, and thereafter as required by applicable law (for example, tax, accounting and anti-money-laundering retention periods). Enquiry correspondence that does not lead to a business relationship is deleted after 24 months.

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data; to restrict or object to its processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. Individuals in South Africa have equivalent rights under POPIA.

The Site does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The only cookie we set is a strictly necessary preference cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) that remembers the language you choose with the Site's language selector; it is retained for 12 months. Because it is set only at your request and is required to provide that feature, it does not require consent.

We may update this policy from time to time. The version published on the Site, with its "last updated" date, is the version in force.
